You inherits an enormous estate in upstate New York from a man she has never heard of. The will has one bizarre condition: she must live there for one year before she can sell it. The house feels strangely familiar. She knows which doors stick. She knows there is a staircase behind a wall that supposedly has never been renovated. She dreams about rooms that no longer exist.
