March 10, 2026. Under the silver roof of Gocheok Sky Dome, where the energy of spring is rising, the most heart-pounding and proud miracles in the history of Korean baseball have finally gathered in one place. Hidden heroes who survived with tenacious vitality and tearful effort in independent league teams across the country to be selected for the national team, and top-tier active professional players who willingly joined to protect the pride of Korean baseball, finally stood shoulder to shoulder on the field wearing the same blue national uniform. It was a majestic sight where the walls of affiliation—the glamorous professional stage versus the harsh shadows of the independent leagues—as well as gender differences and salary gaps, completely melted into one under the name of 'Republic of Korea.' Before the game started or the sortie siren sounded, the Gocheok Dome field was filled with the intense training heat of male and female pitchers, batters, and fielders gathered together to prepare for battle against the world's powerhouses.

Around the mound and bullpen, male and female pitchers responsible for Korea's defense stood side by side, checking each other's pitching motions and strengthening their resolve. Female pitchers who broke through prejudice and limits with skill in the independent leagues to proudly wear the national mark, and active professional male pitchers who have dominated the league with overwhelming stuff, gathered in one space to deliberate on ball combinations to neutralize batters worldwide. Behind home plate, an active professional male catcher taking turns receiving their pitches cheered and shouted every time a glove-popping sound echoed through the dome. Then, all pitchers, batters, and defenders from both professional and independent backgrounds gathered in a circle in the center of the field and linked arms. Though the game hadn't begun, the silence filling the space was heavier and hotter than any roar. "Origin, gender, and position don't matter! We are the proud national team of the Republic of Korea! No matter what country we face, we will win!" As everyone looked into each other's eyes with a shared determination for victory, the brilliant lights of Gocheok Sky Dome began to shine dazzlingly, as if blessing the proudest moment of the Korean representative team that overcame all adversity to achieve this great union. A total of 15 men and 15 women have been selected.
