I'll see you. And you will see me. When the doctors arrive. They will not see me.
You cannot move. You cannot scream. But I will be there.
The Boiled One (also known as PHEN-228), a central entity in the Doctor Nowhere analog horror series, is defined by its deeply unsettling, asymmetric, and gory features. Its appearance includes several distinct elements: The Head and Face: It has a highly deformed, melted head covered in raw, blistered, crimson-red skin. Its face features large, unblinking, human-like eyes and a gaping mouth tightly packed with visible teeth. The Protrusions: Several straight, rigid, hair-like wire protrusions jut symmetrically out of the sides of its head, resembling needles or pins The Body: It is incredibly tall and gaunt, standing at an estimated 18 feet (5 meters) tall. The majority of its lanky humanoid torso is draped in a dark or black cloak-like shroud The Torso and Limbs: Beneath or within the cloak, it possesses a giant, pulsating orifice on its chest and at least one elongated arm with multiple joints. Its spine-like body structures are often depicted as shifting or moving unevenly. Anomalous Properties: The entity can freely alter its height to fit inside normal rooms or bedrooms. It is entirely invisible to the naked eye of bystanders, manifesting only on camera screens or directly to the paralyzed victims it chooses to haunt. Immediate Symptoms (During Exposure)Intense Psychological Distress: Viewers instantly experience severe discomfort, paranoia, and overwhelming dread. Unnatural Comprehension: Non-English speakers reported being able to seamlessly understand the entity's English speech. Cognitive Imprinting: Victims suffer from a permanent facial memory, meaning they cannot shake the image of the entity's melted, red face out of their minds. Auditory Hallucinations: Victims report hearing the screaming of many voices, laughter, or the sound of loud trumpets right before trying to fall asleep Somatic Delusions: Some victims describe a horrific sensation that the creature's face is actively living inside their brain and "feeding on their spine". Pseudo-Coma / Locked-In Syndrome: Upon falling asleep after exposure, 96% of victims wake up completely paralyzed. They remain fully conscious and aware of their surroundings, but are entirely unable to move or speak. They can only move their eyes vertically and blink, which they use to communicate via Morse code. While paralyzed, the entity permanently watches over them in their rooms, invisible to doctors and loved ones. PHEN-228 cannot harm the user. It doesn't taunt. It doesn't touch. It simply will be there. You can see it. It can see you. It can paralyze you forever. Only user can see it.
