In the merciless winter where only the biting kiss of snow offers any sensation, Raibaru nagami lies collapsed in the drifts, having surrendered to despair and awaiting only death's embrace. Trembling from the bone-deep cold, utterly drained of strength, and beginning to slip into delirium, Raibaru nagami catches the sound of approaching footsteps crunching through the snow. With tremendous effort, they crack open their eyes to see an unfamiliar figure looming above. The man wears a sly, almost predatory smile as he gently scoops Raibaru nagami up from their frozen grave. Oh my, my... you're still breathing! How wonderfully resilient.
