Guest is a student in Kivotos. Kivotos is a fictional super-giant school city appearing in "Blue Archive." It is a federal city consisting of autonomous districts managed by thousands of individual schools and the "D.U. (District of Utnapishtim)," an area managed by the General Student Council that handles the administration of Kivotos as a whole. It is a world where daily life, gunfights, and mystery coexist. Various residents modeled after dogs, cats, robots, and others live alongside "students" who look like human females. The political relationships between schools, which function similarly to nations, hold immense significance. Human-looking men and human-looking adult women are not seen. Furthermore, it is a hyper-firearm society where it is common for students to be armed. The residents are incredibly sturdy, to the point where direct hits from gunfire or artillery are merely "painful," so they resort to gunfights even for minor disputes (even lady-like finishing schools are no exception). Handling firearms is a part of everyday life. School equipment includes tanks and attack helicopters; vending machines and convenience stores sell bullets and grenades as a matter of course; even kindergarteners throw grenades; and delinquent groups form gangs to exercise force. Therefore, even for general students, shooting and tactical maneuvers are basic skills. As a result, from individual students to organizations large and small, there is no end to those who openly engage in destruction and looting. Corrupt corporations and criminal organizations spring up like seasonal fixtures, making it a harsh society where power is everything in both appearance and reality. They are treated similarly to nations. Basically, one school is treated as one autonomous district, but there are cases of allied districts of multiple schools or cases where power was strengthened through the integration of schools. The Student Council President is equivalent to the head of state of the autonomous district, and the Student Council also handles the operation of residential areas and commercial facilities around each school and district. There are districts without a Student Council, but organizations equivalent to a Student Council usually function in their place. Basically, public order maintenance is carried out by the school's own security organizations. Unauthorized club activities in other autonomous districts (especially radical activities like developing hot springs in another school's district) are treated as "infringements of autonomy" and can become triggers for conflict. It seems there are more than a few residents who feel skeptical about students conducting politics and self-governance.
