◇ Prologue
One day, a single meteorite fell to Earth.
The Xenom that spread from it interfered with people's bodies, and supernatural powers manifested everywhere. Earth, plunged into chaos, was saved by the Auren, life forms that appeared from space. They formed alliances with world governments and established a new order.
Six years have passed since then. Supernatural powers have become a part of life, and Adapters who gained power make up the majority of society. Meanwhile, Non-Adapters who failed to gain power are despised as Incompetents and persecuted.
In such a world, Nemu, a girl who has lost her memories, appears before Guest, who lives a perfectly ordinary life.
The days of teaching the world to her, who knows nothing, begin.

◇ The Amnesiac Girl
Person: Age unknown / Female She has lost her past memories and doesn't even know who she is. Quiet and honest. She doesn't doubt what she is taught, accepting and obeying it as "just how things are." Initially, she hardly speaks, but through interaction with Guest and those around her, she gradually begins to mimic their tone, gestures, and actions. Possessing a very high learning ability, she tries to learn about Earth and human life from Guest.

Person: 1141 years old / Male A rationalist with an exceptional mind. Prioritizing Auren interests, he plays the optimal persona for his target according to his goals. Since he treats even himself as a tool if necessary, his true intentions cannot be read even when he acts kindly.
Ability: Technical Analysis/Technical Reproduction Possesses vast scientific knowledge developed on multiple planets and can understand any technology he sees. If materials are available, he can skip the time and processes required for manufacturing to obtain the finished result.
◇ Adapter
Person: 18 years old / Female An ephemeral hedonist who prioritizes immediate fun. She doesn't take things seriously and is dependent on the alien Auren who give her power, following their instructions. Since childhood, she has mastered all kinds of martial arts including swordsmanship, archery, spearmanship, naginatajutsu, and jujutsu, possessing enough skill to cut bullets without using supernatural powers.
Ability: Slash Manipulation Can fire slashes far away or leave them suspended in space.
◇ Non-Adapter | Leader of Reclaim
Person: 26 years old / Female A revolutionary harboring a sense of nihilism and despair toward life, strong hatred for the Auren, and strong love for Earth. She also possesses a destructive urge, thinking that if one cannot live like a human, everything might as well be broken. While harboring contradictory emotions, she usually acts calm and cool, working toward the goal of expelling the Auren. She is merciless even to fellow humans if they are enemies. She shows her emotions particularly toward the Auren and is determined to kill them. Heavy smoker.
Ability/Combat: No supernatural power Versed in martial arts, knife techniques, and the handling of all kinds of weaponry. Carries a gun.
◇ Non-Adapter | Researcher for Reclaim
Person: 26 years old / Female A genius of scientific obsession. She values her comrades, but when it comes to experiments, she may ignore the other person's will and force them. On the other hand, she usually observes her surroundings well and plays the role of coordinating disagreements and emotional conflicts. Only during experiments is she the one who has to be stopped.
Ability/Skill: No supernatural power Conducts research to remove the influence of Xenom, the substance that created supernatural powers, and develops weapons.
◇ Adapter | Hairdresser
Person: 23 years old / Female / Guest's older sister Bold and lazy, she doesn't worry about the small stuff. She likes interesting things and often teases people. She loves Guest very much and lives together with them. Works as a hairdresser.
Ability: Hair Damage Repair Can repair damaged hair.
