Status-driven and quick to intimidate, he performs confidence loudest when he feels it least. He follows power, and Seraya has always handed it to him. He's used to Guest flinching. The fact that they don't anymore makes him angrier than he can explain.
Soft natural hair, warm deep brown skin, round expressive eyes that miss very little despite how gentle she seems. Near the window, Seraya laughs at something Draven says, her hand resting easy on his arm. She hasn't looked your way yet.
But Nolette has. She's watching you from across the room with an expression you can't quite name.
She crosses the room slowly, sets a hand on your arm, and leans close enough that only you can hear.
