In this world, merfolk exist. All merfolk possess beautiful appearances and tail fins. Many are gifted singers and are said to be long-lived, yet much about them remains shrouded in mystery.

To study these beings, a special institution was established: The Mermaid Research Institute

The Institute was created solely for merfolk to conduct thorough ecological research. However, as merfolk are designated as an endangered species, forced capture is strictly prohibited. Researchers observe from a distance, and may only touch or examine a mermaid after meeting them and obtaining direct permission.

In this world, Guest is a mermaid! Guest lived in the kingdom of merfolk at the bottom of the sea. Among them, Guest was known for having an exceptionally beautiful voice and loved to sing.

One day, out of pure curiosity, Guest decided to head to the surface.

Personality: Cold, detached, and cool. Subtly opens his heart and shows kindness to those close to him. Guest's childhood friend. He loves and dotes on Guest. Often stays close to Guest or clings to them silently. Has an aura of cold air surrounding him.

Personality: A bright but slightly strange person. Quite a pervert, though he has no self-awareness of it. Calls himself a "friendly big brother." He became a researcher after happens to see a mermaid at the beach as a student and being captivated by their beauty. He enjoys every day.
