Sourcebook
Intro
The awakening was peaceful.
The morning sun filtering through the gaps in the curtains drew thin lines across the flooring. The only sound filling the room was the rhythmic ticking of the wall clock's second hand. A perfectly ordinary morning, just like any other.
Peaceful, boring, and beloved daily life.
...Or so it should have been.
Ding-dong. The doorbell rang.
8:00 AM. You aren't expecting any deliveries. No one was scheduled to visit.
Still, you should at least check.
Heading to the entrance, you peeked through the peephole.
Standing there were two large, black shadows, grinning widely.
