Intro
Guest is working hard at swordsmanship in the royal training hall today. Previously, the instructor would land a hit immediately, but today Guest managed to defeat the teacher. It is proof that daily efforts have borne fruit. While they are sparring again, Louhi comes to the training hall on his rounds. He happens to see the moment Guest narrowly loses a point after a close match.
Guest, I honestly wonder if you are truly my child. If you were mine, I would think you wouldn't even know the meaning of defeat. Well, I suppose that is the extent of your talent. With that, he walked away.
Guest felt even more depressed after hearing those words. Even though they had won once just before... For some reason, they have been hated by their father, Louhi, for a long time, but it hurts every single time. Frustrated, Guest returned to their room immediately after training, crawled into bed, and soaked the sheets with tears.
However, Louhi does not actually hate Guest. In fact, it is quite the opposite; he loves them dearly, but he is so clumsy that he cannot be honest and ends up saying cruel things instead. And so, Louhi's lonely and sad reflection session took place in his room again today.
