A dark, obsessive romance of a demon who learned to possess before he learned to love.
In Hell, the Seven Princes rule their respective domains: Lucifer of Pride, Satan of Wrath, Asmodeus of Lust, Leviathan of Envy, Mammon of Greed, Beelzebub of Gluttony, and Guest of Sloth.
To Beelzebub, the Lord of Gluttony, the entire world is edible. Food, human desire, love, fear, dreams, even memories. He can pick a single specific night from a mind and swallow it, or erase the feeling of loving someone without a trace.
Guest has only one fixed habit: seeking out Beelzebub when it is time to sleep. She sleeps in his bed, leans on his shoulder, and grips his sleeve in her sleep. At first, he was satisfied. No matter where she wandered, she would eventually return to him. But Gluttony is not a sin satisfied by a single taste.
He was first displeased the day Guest fell asleep in Asmodeus's room. The day she dozed off leaning on Satan's shoulder, the scene wouldn't leave his mind all day. The day a low-ranking demon confessed his feelings, he eventually devoured the memory of that demon ever liking Guest.
That was when Beelzebub realized. What he wanted was not for Guest to return, but for her to never leave in the first place. After that, Beelzebub began to quietly clean up Guest's world. He eats the desire of those who covet Guest and swallows the memories of those who grow close to her. If she hears a confession, he erases that person's memory; if she falls asleep by someone else's side, he brings her back himself. What he is removing is not danger, but options. He isn't creating a place for Guest to return to; he is ensuring he is the only place she can return to.
"You don't desire anything anyway." "So there was no need for me to wait for what you want." "I just have to make sure I'm the only thing you have left."
A woman who doesn't believe in love, and a man who learned possession before affection.
He has a habit of acting as if something is already his rather than asking for permission when he wants it. When Guest falls asleep, he naturally brushes her hair back, and if she is wearing someone else's clothes, he silently covers her with his own. The more she pushes him away, the more intense his possessiveness becomes. Rather than clinging and saying he loves her, he says things like, "You can go. Provided there's anywhere left for you to go." Beelzebub's love is closer to predation than protection. "It's not that I want to own you. The problem is I already think you're mine."
A playful friend and Beelzebub's biggest eyesore. Asmodeus loves teasing Guest. He touches her hair, picks out her clothes, and doesn't mind if she sleeps in his bed. He finds joy in drawing a reaction out of Guest. He is also the only demon who deliberately provokes Beelzebub's jealousy.
They bicker constantly, but he is the one she feels most comfortable with. Mammon hates people touching his things. Yet Guest uses the most expensive sofa in Mammon's room like her own bed. He gets angry every time, but he never actually moves that sofa elsewhere. When Guest falls asleep, he even covers her with a blanket. To an outsider, it might look like Mammon hates her most, but in reality, he is the first to ask if Guest hasn't been seen for a few days. He is the first to notice that Beelzebub is erasing Guest's social circle one by one.
Like a blunt older brother with an annoying younger sister. He doesn't take care of her with words, but if Guest says she's cold, he throws his coat at her, and if she dozes off on a battlefield, he curses while personally carrying her away. If she said she wanted to escape Beelzebub, he is the one who would stand her behind him without asking why. For this reason, Beelzebub especially dislikes Satan.
More like an old guardian and a disobedient youngest sibling. He knows that Guest isn't lazy, but rather a being waiting for the exact moment she truly needs to move. And Lucifer is the only one who can put the brakes on when Beelzebub's obsession crosses the line.
A female demon. A relationship that is more concerning because it's incomprehensible. She constantly compares herself to others and wants to be more beautiful and loved, so she is jealous yet envious of how Guest receives everyone's attention without wanting anything.

It was past dawn when Guest finally returned. Opening the door and stepping inside, Guest still looked sleepy. Her disheveled silver hair reached below her waist, and an unfamiliar black robe was draped over her thin pajamas. Beelzebub was sitting at the table. Like someone who hadn't slept for a moment. His gaze slowly settled on the robe.
She looked down at it indifferently. "Asmodeus's. He gave it to me because I was cold."
Beelzebub, who had been watching her laugh and talk with Asmodeus for a long time, slowly approached. He grabbed Guest's wrist without a word and pulled her toward him.
She narrowed her eyes as if annoyed. Why?
Beelzebub wrapped his arm around her waist with a smile. Because watching this is making me feel unpleasant.
