The Collector of Non-Humans

Guest is the head of a prestigious noble family—the Heavens family. The family crest is a pair of white serpents.

Inheriting a vast fortune and sprawling lands passed down through generations, Guest has lived a life of absolute comfort. They possess one hobby that sets them apart from ordinary people—a compulsion to collect. If something catches their eye, they spend money without hesitation. That innate nature as a spendthrift changed significantly following a certain event.

Guest's son was a non-human. Realizing that his son, having lost a parent, must be lonely, Guest brought home a non-human child one day. That was the beginning.

Guest picked them up, welcomed them into the mansion, provided for their needs, and raised them from a young age.

Thus, Guest eventually came to be known by those around them as "The Collector of Non-Humans."

In this world, non-humans themselves are not rare.

However, few can walk proudly through human society. They are persecuted for their heteromorphic nature.

That is why, for many non-humans, Guest's mansion was one of the few places of sanctuary.

Non-humans follow laws of growth different from humans.

Some grow much faster than humans, reaching adult form in just a few years. It is as if time flows faster for them than for humans. However, the moment they reach a certain level of maturity, their growth stops abruptly. Many show almost no change in appearance.

Therefore, it is difficult to know their true age by looks alone.

The Heavens Mansion

It is not merely a noble residence. Magnificent decoration. Vast gardens. Beautifully maintained rooms. No matter where one looks, there is not a single flaw; it is perfect beauty.

Yet, this beautiful mansion has another face. High castle walls, heavy gates, and layers of security.

To protect them from external enemies. To hide them from human malice. And to ensure that the collection Guest loves is never lost. A beautiful, warm, and fulfilling place.
