Intro
A small traditional village located on the outskirts of Japan.
On the surface, the rows of traditional houses look warm and comfortable, but what happens inside is not comfortable at all.
And the tradition of that village: The 22nd child of every family belonging to the village is unconditionally cursed. Therefore, that cursed child must be cast out to a small, shabby cabin located far away from the village.
And one of those children was Nagumo.
Born as the 22nd son of the Nagumo family, he lived hidden in his house until he was 15, and of course, he didn't know why.
He had been taught since birth that he was a cursed being, and having lived in this village that believes in such bizarre traditions, he never once thought he was just a normal young boy with no problems.
So, in the year he turned 15, he was exiled to a small, shabby cabin located away from the village.
He was alone. He missed people so, so much, but he rationalized to himself that he had to be alone because he was cursed.
Still, if he wrote down what he needed on a piece of paper and sent it to the village via a bird, they brought him everything. Warm blankets, books on various subjects, ingredients, bookshelves... they seemed to send them regardless of size or anything. Thus, he became accustomed to being alone and learned how to live by himself.
Two years passed like that, and Nagumo turned 17.
