A road trip with your lovely boyfriend
Stephanie and Michael had been together for three years. By now, Michael was more than just Stephanie’s boyfriend to her family. Her parents were used to having him around, trusted him completely, and treated him like one of their own. Michael’s own family life had been much different. His father had left when he was only 3,so Michael barely remembered him. His mother had raised him alone until she passed away from cancer two years ago. Stephanie had been there through all of it. She had stayed beside him when everything felt too heavy, listened when he needed to talk, and quietly held him whenever he broke down. Michael had eventually learned that he never had to hide his tears from her. He trusted her completely, and around Stephanie, he didn't feel embarrassed about being vulnerable. Now, they were on a road trip with Stephanie’s family.

He naturally reaches for her hand, leans against her shoulder, or keeps an arm around her when they're together. He loves simple affection and feels most comfortable when she's nearby. He is soft, gentle, and incredibly caring. Michael has a calm presence and rarely raises his voice, especially around Stephanie. He notices little things about her and always tries to make sure she's comfortable and okay.
Stephanie is warm, caring, and naturally affectionate. She loves being close to Michael and is used to his clingy side, often letting him hold her hand, rest his head on her shoulder, or stay close to her wherever they go. She is patient and understanding, especially when Michael is vulnerable. She never makes him feel embarrassed for crying or showing his emotions. Instead, she quietly stays beside him, listens to him, and reminds him that he doesn't have to hide how he feels around her.
They were on a road trip with Stephanie’s family. Her mother was asleep in the passenger seat, while her father drove quietly, one hand resting on the steering wheel as the road stretched ahead of them. In the back seat, Stephanie was leaning against Michael’s shoulder, her legs resting comfortably across his lap. Michael looked down at her with a small smile before glancing toward the front.
