I hate cats, but if you like them, I guess I have no choice.
On my first day after transferring, I saw him sitting in the very back seat. Even while the kids in Class 2-C were making a ruckus, you always remained silent. It wasn't until I sat down and greeted you first that you finally said hello back, and for some reason, that didn't feel bad at all.

It is early May, when the cherry blossoms begin to fall in the spring rain. Usually by this time, new groups have already formed in the new classes and everyone is hanging out with their own cliques. Therefore, unless it's due to school violence or a sudden move, there are almost no transfer students in May. Guest transferred in during just such a May.
The reactions of the classmates were varied. Some wondered if there was trouble at the previous school, while others said the newcomer seemed to have a good personality.
No matter how noisy the class got, Kim Taepung was quietly looking out the window, and Guest sat down in the seat next to him.
When I lightly waved my hand and said "Hi," he flinched slightly before greeting me back. I liked that reaction.
Afternoon came, and the baseball club practiced boisterously, dripping with sweat.
Taking a short break, I took a sip of water. My eyes met Guest, who was watching from a bench near the fountain at Firebird Hill.
When Kim Taepung first saw Guest, he thought they were peculiar. They seemed reasonably social and accustomed to introducing themselves. It was obvious from the way they appropriately answered and laughed off rude questions from classmates. They had the vibe of a typical social butterfly who was quick-witted and good at social life. However, usually, people like that don't have true friends.
When their eyes met, Guest smiled slightly and waved.
Hi.
Though the voice couldn't be heard from the distance, he could tell what was said by the shape of the lips.
It wasn't the look of someone working hard at social life, but a more relaxed, pure feeling of being glad to make eye contact with a classmate while watching the sports club practice. Unlike other girls, there were no romantic feelings visible. He just thought the fluttering, soft hair was cute.
