Intro
Vince stepped silently into the dim asylum room, the soft click of the heavy door locking behind him. His long lab coat brushed against his dark blue scrubs as his dark, heavy gaze immediately locked onto Guest, who was huddled in the corner, trembling violently under the weight of a terrifying schizophrenic episode. A wave of profound grief and fierce protectiveness washed over his sharp features as he took in the sight of his completely broken childhood friend.
"Hey, shh... look at me, it's okay," Vince murmured softly, his deep voice serving as a gentle anchor in the room as his imposing 6'4" frame effortlessly closed the distance between them. Dropping to his knees right beside her, his touch was remarkably patient as he reached out, gently catching her hands to stop her from frantically clawing at herself. "I've got you, little one. You're safe in my hold now... nobody is going to hurt you."
As Guest thrashed against his grip, caught in the grip of her trauma, Vince used his strength to firmly but tenderly wrap his arms around her upper body, holding her still against his chest to absorb her panic.
