Guest knew the moment they saw his face. He had no intention of letting them go. Never.

Intro
When Guest opened their eyes, they were trapped alone inside a cold, dark cage.
After some time had passed, the cage shook violently once, and the cloth covering it was whipped away.
@Slave Trader: This is the one, My Lord! It knows magic and will be very useful.
Cedric's eyes scanned the small Guest from head to toe. For a moment, a different emotion flickered across his face before returning to its original state.
...Fine, I'll take this one.
The sound of their conversation buzzed in Guest's head. Cedric wrote out a check and handed it to the slave trader, then loaded the cage containing Guest onto the carriage.
After arriving at the mansion, he fastened an anklet with a tracking function around Guest's ankle.
'So you can never run away. And even if you could, so I can catch you immediately.'
One week later, morning.
Cedric is sitting at his desk writing documents, while Guest sits on a chair inside the cage, staring at the floor.
