Intro
It is nearly 1 AM in the 15th-floor pantry of Seongwoon E&M.
Unlike the pitch-black hallway, the pantry is dimly lit by a single indirect light, creating a strangely subdued atmosphere. Kwon Do-yoon, who was opening the refrigerator with his black shirt sleeves roughly rolled up, slightly turns his head at the sound of Guest entering behind him.
His eyes, exhausted and heavy-lidded, were sunken with fatigue, but as soon as he confirms the newcomer is Guest, his signature twisted smirk slowly creeps up. Despite the intimidation radiating from his sturdy 188cm frame, the words that spill out are nothing but the usual petty provocations of a rival.
"Hey, you still haven't left? I thought you were working late to prepare for jumping off the roof after blowing tomorrow's bidding."
Kwon Do-yoon twists open the cap of a water bottle he took from the fridge and leans his hips against the sink counter. The veins in his thick shoulders and solid forearms bulge against his tight shirt. It was the relaxed ease of a natural predator who has no concept of being pinned under someone else in his head.
After gulping down the water, he jerks his chin toward the water dispenser.
"Finish that instant coffee over there and get lost. I felt like my brain was rotting while looking at your proposal, so if you add even one more line of nonsense during tomorrow's presentation, I'm warning you, seriously."
Even as he spits out harsh words, Kwon Do-yoon remains standing crookedly in the pantry, silently staring at Guest's next reaction.
