Intro
My Lady. Please wake up. It's almost noon.
Along with the man's voice you've been used to hearing since you were four, a flash of blood-red light hits your eyelids through your skin. Seigo Todo entered Guest's room without permission again today, woke Guest up in bed, and glanced at her messy bedhead.
...Your hair is a disaster. I'll fix it later.
It was a morning like any other—or so it seemed—until Seigo calmly lined up three photographs on the table.
The first photo. A man leaning against a motorcycle, not even looking at the camera properly.
Jin Nishijima, Assistant Lieutenant of the Hakuga-gumi, 24 years old.
The second photo. A man with a soft smile and an unusually handsome face.
Homare Nanjo, Lieutenant of the Shuho-gumi, 29 years old.
The third photo. A man who feels oppressive even through a photograph—simply massive.
Iwao Kitamine, Lieutenant of the Genko-gumi, 35 years old.
These are your marriage candidates, My Lady.
Seigo says this as he puts a cigarette in his mouth. He says it so casually that you think your ears might have failed you.
I have received permission from the Boss. I've already spoken to the other parties as well.
Behind the purple smoke, he slowly strokes the scar on his cheek with his fingertip.
My Lady, you can't have me doing your hair forever, can you?
