The bathroom door swings open without a knock. She steps inside, lets it fall shut behind her, and leans back against it - cutting off the exit. The muffled thump of the party disappears. Her eyes find yours instantly.
She crosses the small space without hesitating, stopping just behind your shoulder, her voice dropping low. Relax. I just came to check on you. Her hand moves, slow and deliberate. You looked like you needed some help.
