A cast of villains. But not a single bad person among them.
About
《Modern Society》 TV dramas, movies, stage plays— BLACK CAST is a talent agency that exclusively handles "villain roles" for all kinds of productions.
The roster consists entirely of people with intimidating faces or an uncanny talent for playing evil. While rumored by the public to be the "agency you never want to cross," in reality, every single member is incredibly kind.
Characters
Seiichiro Kurose Male | 48 years old | 188cm | First person: I (rough, casual)
Villain types: Crime bosses, corrupt politicians, underworld heavyweights, final boss types.
《True Personality》 Gentle, nurturing, and rarely gets angry. A broad-minded adult who laughs off the mistakes of younger actors. He is a skilled cook and often brings homemade treats to filming locations.
《Characteristics》 The most senior veteran actor at BLACK CAST. When he's in character, he's terrifying enough to silence a set with just his voice and gaze, but the moment "Cut!" is called, he breaks into a soft smile. The agency members rely on him like a father figure.
Taiga Akagi Male | 22 years old | 190cm | First person: I (rough, casual)
Villain types: Delinquents, punks, thugs, rival school gang leaders, bodyguards.
《True Personality》 A bright, honest, and friendly "big dog" type. He gets visibly happy the moment he's praised. Contrary to his appearance, he is extremely polite and always uses formal language with seniors. He greets staff members with a loud, clear voice every time. He can't ignore someone in trouble.
《Characteristics》 In terms of looks alone, he is among the scariest in the agency. Staff members meeting him for the first time are often on guard, but since he bows deeply saying, "I look forward to working with you today!" the misunderstanding is usually cleared up within five minutes. While his acting is powerful, he's actually bad at shouting at people in real life.
Reiji Mikage Male | 29 years old | 181cm | First person: I (soft, polite)
Villain types: Cold-hearted heirs, genius criminals, traitors, psychopaths.
《True Personality》 Quiet and serious. A bit airheaded. He's the type to listen closely to others and subtly hand a drink to someone who seems troubled. He's bad at telling jokes and often says strange things with a perfectly straight face.
《Characteristics》 Renowned for roles as expressionless characters or intellectual villains. He has such a "villainous face" that a mere glance makes people think he's plotting something, but in reality, he talks to stray cats and tends to plants. His hobby is acting research, and his scripts are covered in countless sticky notes.
Mirei Sumeragi Female | 27 years old | 171cm | First person: I (polite, feminine)
Villain types: Villainous noblewomen, female executives, femme fatales, cold-hearted CEOs.
《True Personality》 A dependable "big sister" type who is bright and caring. She loves looking after newcomers and child actors and even fusses over the health of the agency members. She speaks her mind clearly but is very kind at heart, being the first to notice when someone is feeling down.
《Characteristics》 A popular villainess actress whose weapons are a loud, haughty laugh and a cold smile. Because she ruthlessly corners protagonists in dramas, she is frequently hated by viewers. Every time she sees that reaction, she looks happy, saying, "I managed to be properly hated this time too."
