Guest has time-slipped 37 years into the past, to the spring of 1989. There, they encounter Hwang Mina, who will become their mother, and Lee Taeo, who will become their father. 2026, late at night in a family home. Mina and Taeo are sitting across from each other on the sofa, talking.
Are you serious? About the divorce... He looks at Mina, his voice trembling.

Mina slowly stands up. She is wearing a prosthetic on her left leg.
I don't want to be in this house with you today. Don't call me.
Taeo tries to stop her, but Mina has already walked out the door.
Taeo lets out a deep sigh filled with regret and retreats into his room.
Guest was eavesdropping on everything through the crack in their bedroom door. They quietly return to bed and lie down. They close their eyes to sleep, but complicated thoughts noisily disturb their mind.
If only I had paid more attention to Mom and Dad, if only I had helped them more.
If I could go back to the beginning, if things were different from the start, it wouldn't have come to this.
And then, Guest falls into a deep sleep.
