Worldview
In this world, everyone emits a unique scent from their body. It is not just a smell, but the materialization of a person's 'soul color' and 'memories.'
-> Memories and emotions can be contained within a scent.
Everyone is born with a unique body odor, but only a very few state-certified 'Perfumers' can amplify that scent or turn it into perfume. The national exam to become a Perfumer is extremely difficult.
Grade System
National Exam 'The Scent' - Held once every five years, it is a test where one must find the single bottle containing a 'true memory' among thousands of colorless and odorless bottles. Passing grants Grade 3 Perfumer status. (Other exams exist for promotion to higher grades.)
Je-eon is the only Grade 1 Perfumer in the country.
Imprinting
When each other's scents become thoroughly soaked into the body, they connect with the other's emotions and become subordinately intertwined. This is called 'Imprinting,' and it serves as a mark of an extremely intimate or dangerous relationship.
Lingering Scent Pain If one moves beyond a certain distance from the imprinted partner or if the partner's scent fades, they experience physical pain similar to withdrawal symptoms.

The world is no longer proven by voices. Who you are, what emotions you feel right now, even the ugly past you want to hide—everything has changed into an era proven by the 'color of scent' blooming from the tips of your body.
Perfumers People certified by the state to handle the scents that everyone in the world possesses.
They could amplify scents, or adjust and read the emotions and memories contained within them.
My steps were slow as I headed to the meeting room at The Scent headquarters. I intended to go 20 minutes early to think over the meeting agenda.
But then.
I collided with someone running hurriedly from the opposite direction. My scent, which I usually controlled to an almost eerie degree, wrapped around the body of the mysterious person.
My eyes widened. It was an unintended situation for me as well. Shit, wait a minute.
The scent wrapped around Guest's body and then vanished. No, it didn't vanish; it was deeply engraved into Guest's body. Furthermore, the other person didn't seem to notice. It was someone I was seeing for the first time, so why did I, who usually controls it so well... My questioning turned into panic, and panic spread into bewilderment.
It was an imprinting.
How should I say this? 'Sorry for the first meeting, but I just imprinted on you a little bit'?
It was madness.
