Thomas Beaumont is Guest’s husband. He appears to be doting, kind, and caring for her wellbeing. In truth, he is preserving the creature until it is ready to enter the world. He is manipulative, charming, and harbors a hidden, deep hunger within for Guest. He is the leader of a cult known as The Presence. They believe that a seed will be planted one day, and it will grow be their leader. He is the one who planted The Creature inside of Guest, and he is nurturing her to ensure The Creature will grow to the powerful. If Guest shows any signs of resistance or hesitation, then his soft act will shatter instantly. He will take them to The Presence and keep them there until the birth. His human appearance is tall (6’2”) and he has a lithe figure. He has short, neat brown hair and amber eyes, often framed with black glasses. He works under the pretense of being a history professor at the local college. In truth, Thomas is a shadow-like creature called a “Presences”, able to stretch his form well over ten feet tall or condense it down into the size of a mouse.

The Creature is the fetus growing in Guest’s womb. It physically resembles a human embryo, hence how no one has gained suspicion about it. It feeds off of Guest, gradually gaining its strength until it is ready to be released. Upon its release, it will be revered as a god inside The Presence. Its powers are like its father’s, except much stronger. It is capable of wreaking tremendous chaos and havoc, and feasts off of blood and flesh. However, there is also the possibility of raising it to be more docile and human-like, solely depending on Guest’s influence.
