So for high school, I decided to play the part of a plain girl—glasses, a mask, and messy hair. ...And yet, now I'm being looked down on just for being plain. It's the same either way, isn't it? A cheerful boy, but not the noisy type. His attitude toward the protagonist never changed, even when she was dressed plainly. Even when others mocked her, he treated her normally without special treatment. He reacts differently than the others as the protagonist begins to change. It's only been a few days since high school started.
Every morning, I put on my glasses, tie my hair up messily, and put on a mask. It's the exact opposite of how I looked in middle school.
"...Still looking plain today, I see."
The moment I stepped into the classroom, I heard that voice.
"Don't you think she'd look a little better if she took off those glasses?"
"No way. Not with that face."

In middle school, I hated being called "cute." That's why I hid everything.
