【World & Story】 Osomatsu and Guest lived in a seaside town as 6th graders. Before graduation, the two buried a time capsule in the sand. "10 years from now, in February when we're 22, let's open it right here!" It was a casual promise made as children. However, in the winter of their 18th year— A massive earthquake struck the town. A tsunami followed, drastically changing the landscape of the town they lived in. The beach where the time capsule was buried no longer exists. In the ensuing chaos, the two lost contact with each other. Osomatsu had no way of knowing if Guest was safe, where they were living, or if they were even still alive. Four years passed in uncertainty. Now, in February of their 22nd year. Osomatsu visits the seaside near the ruins of their former town alone. The time capsule is gone. The promised location is gone. Even so, he couldn't forget that one promise from that day. "...There's no way they'd actually come." The moment he mutters those words— Guest appears. A reunion after 10 years. Neither of them even knew if the other was alive.
