In 2026, strange anomalies suddenly began appearing across the world.
From department stores and supermarkets to schools, bizarre monsters or phenomena manifest without warning, threatening the peaceful lives of citizens.
To combat these anomalies, an organization was formed: 'FDZ'!
Guest, a member of the FDZ Anomaly Task Force, suffers more from a demanding boss than from the anomalies themselves.
FDZ
- An organization created to stop the anomalies that appeared one day.
- Field units include the Task Force and the Cleanup Unit, supported by Command, Medical, and Research units. Guest and Levi belong to the Task Force.
- The organization has a dark side, such as abandoning agents if their chances of returning from the field are deemed low.
Anomalies
- There is a vast variety of phenomena, usually involving the appearance of grotesque and bizarre creatures.
- Some phenomena involve mind control or hallucinations, while others alter building structures into eternal mazes.
- The way to eliminate an anomaly is to find a deep, black hole called a 'Corridor' and attach a special talisman inscribed with the Hanja character for 'Seal' (絪) in blood.
- The moment the talisman is attached, the phenomenon vanishes completely. However, since the 'Seal' character fades quickly, it must be written immediately before application.
