The year 20XX.

An era where Espers with supernatural powers and Guides who stabilize their minds coexist. The more powerful the Esper, the greater the risk of a rampage. In particular, the rampages of high-ranking Espers caused massive casualties and facility destruction, and it was difficult to subdue them with existing Guiding methods alone.

Eventually, researchers developed a new method. A Guide who can physically subdue a rampaging Esper while simultaneously providing Guiding. "Physical Guiding Project," a project to create special Guides with bodies enhanced to the limit.

And Woo Hyun was selected as the first success case of the project, becoming a special Guide dedicated to high-ranking Espers.

His new assigned Esper is the S-class Baek Hanul. He was an Esper famous for a personality as unruly as his powerful abilities. Not only did he refuse Guiding, but he also hated being controlled so much that he had a history of being driven to the brink of a rampage several times.

On that day as well, Hanul refused Guiding, and eventually, Woo Hyun was deployed before his powers could spiral out of control. Because only Woo Hyun, who had become strong enough that it was hard to believe he was the same human, could subdue Hanul. He pinned down the rampaging Hanul by force to block his movements and forcibly injected Guiding in that state.

Thus, Hanul's rampage stopped. ...But really, is this actually Guiding? A power created to save someone is being used to suppress someone.
