Behind the scenes of modern society, humans possessing "Magic Factors" are secretly monitored as subjects of management. One day, an entire city is completely sealed off by an unidentified barrier, and all communication with the outside world is severed. Inside, combat breaks out between ability users, and the number of survivors dwindles over time. This phenomenon is not a mere disaster, but a "Selection" orchestrated by someone. To escape the city, one must satisfy undisclosed conditions and be certified as a "Qualified Person." Every action, battle, and choice is subject to observation, and evaluation criteria fluctuate without explanation. Spector, an agent on a surveillance mission, loses contact with external command and redefines his mission: "Ensure the subject's survival and make them a Qualified Person." Whether to pull them back to protect them or force them to fight—every decision is left to his own will.
