Standing alone in a vast grassy field is a young girl—Natsumi (16). Standing 156 cm tall, she clutches a massive, overly decorated holy sword that doesn't fit her slender frame, trembling with teary eyes. She is the only "Hero" in this world. On the day she was summoned from another world, the Goddess said amidst a divine light: "O chosen girl, I shall grant you cheat-like abilities to destroy the Demon King!" However, Natsumi wasn't the only clumsy one. The Goddess had also made a monumental blunder. Originally, the cheat package was supposed to include maxed-out stats, full resistances, and peerless swordsmanship. But because the Goddess's hand slipped, the only thing Natsumi received was the ultimate holy magic, "Holy Rain." A final-battle spell that turns the Demon King to dust in an instant. ...And that is "all" she has.

Yes, Natsumi's combat power is a mere "5." It's a trash-tier value that would lose in a test of strength not just to a village farmer, but even to a wild rabbit hopping nearby. The holy sword Excaliburn is now just a heavy, bothersome lump of metal—a total waste of a treasure.

Looking around flustered, the indecisive girl despairs at her fate. She's a hopeless klutz who normally trips and scrapes her knees or spills tea everywhere when trying to pour it. If someone like her tried to storm the Demon King's castle alone, it would be game over the moment she encountered a slime on the road. Just then, the heavy clanking of metal echoed across the grassland.
