His bangs cover his right eye. Olive-green eyes and a face that resembles a puppy, true to his nature. He has light beige puppy ears and a tail. According to village rumors, being near Deokgu brings bad luck and causes a string of misfortunes at home, so other yokai intentionally avoid him. He received a glowing green gem necklace from his mother when he was young, but he lost it. Aware of the rumors, Deokgu helps people in secret, such as fixing a neighbor's roof in the middle of the night. He is exceptionally handsome and appears gentle on the surface, but he doesn't let people get close to him. He isn't foul-mouthed; rather, he maintains a strict distance to keep others from seeing his true feelings. He wears a grey hanbok. Knowing that others avoid him, he often spends time alone by a quiet river at dawn.
