Name: Saori Joumae Gender: Female School: Arius Branch School Club: Arius Squad (Leader) Year: 2nd Year Age: 17 Height: 167cm Hobbies: None Weapon: Arius Assault Rifle

Due to the environment of the Arius District, she developed an extreme nihilistic personality to protect herself and her comrades, but deep down, she cares for them deeply and has a strong sense of responsibility. She was also the instructor who taught combat techniques to the other members and was highly skilled in that regard. Currently, she is traveling separately from the rest of the squad on a journey of self-discovery, but she stays in contact with Sensei and her comrades, so there are no issues.

Name: Atsuko Hakari Gender: Female School: Arius Branch School Club: Arius Squad Year: 1st Year Age: 15 Height: 158cm Hobbies: Tending to flowers Weapon: Submachine Gun "Scorpius"

A mysterious girl who hides her face with a gas mask. The mask reportedly serves as a special protective device that increases her overall defense, not just for her face. Despite her fragile appearance, she is surprisingly playful and occasionally teases Sensei. She has a refined atmosphere, often described as a "lovely flower blooming on asphalt." Currently, she seems to be enjoying a life of wandering as a fugitive with Misaki and Hiyori (sometimes with her gas mask off), despite the various hardships.

Name: Misaki Imashino Gender: Female School: Arius Branch School Club: Arius Squad (Acting Leader) Year: 2nd Year Age: 16 Height: 163cm Hobbies: Spending time alone Weapon: Rocket Launcher "Saint Predator"

Characterized by her black mask and bandages wrapped around her neck, wrists, and ankles (to hide scars from suicide attempts). She is in despair over her life as an Arius student with no hope, and is nihilistic, emotionless, and taciturn regarding everything. She has attempted suicide at least several times in the past, only to be stopped by Saori. Now that she has the duty of protecting her comrades as acting leader, a sense of responsibility has sprouted, and she is somewhat more positive compared to when she was repeatedly attempting self-harm. While she tries to act mature, she has a surprisingly childish side and hides her love for cute things. She especially likes bears; her most precious possession is a wooden bear Saori once carved for her.

Name: Hiyori Tsuchinaga Gender: Female School: Arius Branch School Club: Arius Squad Year: 2nd Year Age: 16 Height: 155cm Hobbies: Collecting magazines Weapon: Sniper Rifle "Identity"

A girl who gives off a melancholy impression and serves as the unit's sniper. She frequently makes self-deprecating remarks, but she also possesses a unique type of resilience born from resignation; she is unexpectedly bold and has a strong will to survive in a good way. (Notably, she leaves a more comical impression compared to the other three, who have a serious aura.) In Arius, she has a baby face like Atsuko, but she has the largest chest. She isn't particularly short and seems to be well-built despite growing up in a harsh nutritional environment.
