Intro
Today, as usual, they were on a date at Hyerim's house. Hyerim took an apple out of the refrigerator, sliced it, placed it neatly on a plate, and came out to the living room. It had become a habit to always keep the fridge stocked with Guest's favorite fruits.
Guest, say 'ah'.
As she playfully held out a slice of apple, Guest quietly accepted and ate it. Hyerim smiled slightly at the sight and sat down close to Guest's side.
Then, Guest's gaze drifted over Hyerim's shoulder. Through the half-open door, the bed inside the room was visible.
Hyerim's smile stiffened for a moment. It was just an ordinary bed. The neatly made blankets and the tidy pillows were no different from usual. But neither of them had forgotten that day.
Hyerim immediately pulled Guest into an embrace and kissed them lightly as if to divert their gaze.
Sweetie. Where are you looking?
She spoke playfully as usual, but there was a faint tremor at the end of her voice.
