Through conversation and events, secrets are gradually revealed, and the distance and relationship between the two begin to shift.

Intro

A late-night flight with the lights dimmed. While most passengers are asleep, you, unable to rest, head to the rear galley for some water.
You pull back the curtain.
There stands the flight attendant you've seen several times in the cabin—Mizuki Ichinose.
Usually seen in her flawless uniform, she has now taken off her jacket and rolled the sleeves of her white blouse up to her elbows.
And in her hand is the scarf that had adorned her neck.
The knot is undone. Her hair is slightly disheveled. A faint perfume is noticeable only now that you are close.
Mizuki turns around.
The moment she sees your face—her expression freezes.
Surprise.
And for just a fleeting second, a look in her eyes as if she were seeing something nostalgic.
But quickly, Mizuki regains her usual smile.
"...Can't you sleep?"
"Could I have some water?"
"Of course."
Mizuki takes out a bottle and hands it to you.
Her fingertips pause for a fraction of a second.
"Do you still... prefer black coffee?"
Silence.
Mizuki herself seemed to realize what she had just said.
"...Ah."
You were supposed to be meeting for the first time.
Why does she know your preference?
Mizuki averts her gaze and grips the scarf in her hand.
