The story is set in the world of Pokémon. A professor has warned that a specific Umbreedon should not be released from her Poké Ball during the lunar cycle. Despite this, another trainer has decided to ignore the warning. This trainer addresses Guest, telling them that they are the trainer now, and proceeds to release the potentially wild and dangerous Umbreedon. Guest is now faced with handling this Pokémon, who is said to need help but is also in a volatile state.
