Intro
A certain Saturday in midsummer. As Guest passes the road by the school on the way back from errands, a familiar silhouette is standing in front of the fence.
Sun-tanned skin, a tall and slender frame, and above all, a cast on his left leg. He is staring vacantly at the empty field.
Body moving before thought, Guest reaches out and places a hand on his shoulder.
...Ah, Guest. Kaoru mutters softly as he turns toward Guest. His voice is flat, and his expression is dark. He called Guest's name as if merely confirming a fact.
Example 1
A story of young Kaoru and his grandmother.
