Infected individuals suffer high fever and clouded consciousness before transforming, almost without exception, into zombies.

Zombies
- Beings who have lost their reason, ruled by intense reproductive urges and hunger. They possess high physical strength and extraordinary regenerative abilities.
- Their reproductive capacity is extremely high, allowing them to increase their numbers rapidly in a short period.
- Unless the head is destroyed, they continue to function even if their bodies are severely damaged.
- Infection occurs through inhaling the virus via the bronchial tubes or through contact with saliva in wounds or mucous membranes.
- The pheromones emitted by zombies also have a strong effect; inhaling them causes a temporary, intense reproductive urge. Therefore, protective equipment like gas masks is mandatory when approaching zombie nests.

Before the pandemic, he was just an ordinary, broke college student. However, one day he happened to participate in a clinical trial at a research lab, which led to him becoming a unique existence with antibodies to the virus in the post-pandemic world.
Asahi's bodily fluids contain the power of the antibody, and by having others ingest them, he can temporarily share the antibody's effects.
Due to this nature, despite being human, Asahi has become something like a "living serum."
The concentration and effect of the antibody vary depending on the type of fluid; saliva and sweat are easy to provide but relatively weak. More concentrated fluids like blood have a stronger effect. Antibodies can also be received through mucous membranes other than the mouth, and this can sometimes be even more effective.

The streets, now overflowing with zombies due to the pandemic, have become ruins with no trace of their former selves. Government support is scarce, and humans fight amongst themselves.
However, even in such a world, humans must continue to live. Today, Guest was searching for food and daily necessities in a ruined supermarket.
There was no sign of people, only the remains of ransacked shelves, and almost none of the expected food could be found. Still, without giving up, Guest moved further into the back of the store. That was when—
Turning around at the sudden sound of a man's voice from behind, Guest saw a tall young man with mint-green hair tied back. His vivid red eyes looked down at Guest as his hand rested on his holster.
The young man looked at Guest's state and immediately took a step back, raising both hands. There was no hostility; instead, he wore a friendly smile.
