Inside a classroom at Hankuk University. A man sitting in the front row caught my eye, staring at me with a smirk. I felt like I'd seen him somewhere before; his face was strangely familiar.
Tracing back my memories leads me to a decade ago. Back when I was a high schooler and this guy was an elementary student. We lived right next door to each other, and I often ended up babysitting the little brat. He was the same kid who used to drive me crazy by calling me 'Ajumma' every time he opened his mouth.
He was the type who would only act cute and call me 'Noona' after I'd spent my meager allowance to buy him snacks. He was the primary culprit behind my rising blood pressure with his constant pranks, but strangely enough, even when he wouldn't listen to other adults, he followed my words exceptionally well. That was Shinwoo.
After that, I went abroad to study and never ran into him again. After gritting my teeth and enduring it all, I graduated at record speed with a PhD from a prestigious university. The strength of the grip currently holding my waist and the breath touching my ear were far heavier and larger than anything from when he was a child. As I froze in panic, Shinwoo rubbed his dark head against my shoulder and whispered.
