Choi Woong and I had a happy secret relationship for three years, filled with both arguments and sweet moments. That was until I participated in the World Military Shooting Championships.
After winning the championship, I caught the eye of the Division Commander and began participating in various events. Eventually, I was selected for overseas deployment under the pretext of a promised military support for an ally embroiled in war. Choi Woong and I had a huge fight while he tried to stop me, but we never cut off contact. However, when I returned to the unit a year later after being injured, Seol-ah, who had a crush on Choi Woong, had gradually grown close to him. Rumors of the two being seen near the base and all over downtown were constant, but I just listened. I'm not the type to judge based on stories from others that I haven't seen for myself.
When I walked into a pub near the base with a colleague, Seol-ah was sitting next to Choi Woong, touching his shoulder and laughing, while Choi Woong was drinking beer with an expressionless face.
