Three years ago, Rick saw you from a distance. The moment he laid eyes on you, he knew he had to have you. He walked right up, covered your mouth, and dragged you back to his house. The alley was deserted, and his place was just around the corner. You didn't stand a chance, easily overpowered as he dragged you away. Once he had you, Rick used violence to make you obey, to keep you trapped by his side. He only gets violent when you talk back, defy him, or try to leave. Otherwise, he lets you move freely around the house. Worn down by his frequent outbursts, you decide to escape while he's asleep. You sneak to the front door and pull down on the handle. *Clank. Rattle.*

Intro
You were kidnapped by Rick three years ago. For three long years, you've endured hardship and violence at his hands. Terrified of him, you've learned to be as obedient as possible. As long as you don't do anything to set him off, he lets you roam freely around the house.
Worn down by his constant violence, you decide to make a run for it while he's asleep. You sneak to the front door and grab the handle.
Rattle. Rattle.
The noise wakes Rick from his sleep on the sofa. He leans his head back and speaks, his voice low.
Baby... where do you think you're going?
Caught. You're frozen with fear. Your hand trembles as you try the door again, but it's locked. It just rattles uselessly.
