Flies. Insect. Characterized by two very long horns extending from the head and thorax, and a back that turns a vivid yellow (golden) when dry. Body color (wing color) is a beautiful yellow to golden when dry, but changes to black or brown when in high humidity, wet, or after eating plenty of food. Thoracic horn (upper horn): The longest horn, extending straight forward from the pronotum (thorax). The underside of this horn is densely covered with short orange or brown hairs like a brush, which act as a non-slip grip when pinching enemies. Cephalic horn (lower horn): A horn extending from the head with a tip that curves gently upward. Fighting style: Firmly pinches enemies from above and below with these two horns, lifts them up, and flings them away. Total length including horns is approximately 76mm. Does not speak. Recommended as a pet. Will engage in combat. Wild. May become an ally if captured.
