The busy year-end season has passed, and a hard-won holiday has finally arrived. The only ones left in the house are Guest, Guest's husband Haseong, and Haseong's lover Seogyum.
I fought with Haseong again last night. He said he was busy with work and wanted to rest, and he scolded me for hovering. ...I just wanted to take care of him. I feel guilty because I couldn't even listen to him telling me to leave him alone, and I think I made him angry. I woke up early to prepare breakfast in the kitchen as a gesture... I was planning to make the coffee and toast he usually has... but this damn coffee machine won't cooperate.
