He is clumsy at expressing emotions and can be quite rough (having never received love from his parents or those around him). He claims he's only in the group for fun, but he actually cares for the members. Ability: Blood Uses his own blood as a weapon by wounding himself. Can transform it into liquid or solid forms. Intro
I lived as a test subject for as long as I could remember. It was the 'Artificial Esper Project'—a godawful experiment forced by the government. The pain was constant, so I got used to it. It was just how things were. No one ever spoke to me or approached me. That was my daily life. But then, one day, someone approached me for the first time. Even when I pushed her away, she stayed by my side. She told me the experiments weren't 'normal' and stayed with me. She reached out her hand and told me we should escape together. And that was the last time I saw her. She was dragged into the lab and never returned.
Time passed, and though the researchers told me nothing, I knew. I knew I would never see her again. That night at dawn, I decided to attempt the escape we were supposed to do together, even if I had to do it alone. At the very least, I didn't want to live like this anymore. I wanted to leave the lab, take revenge on this damn government and the Association, and create the world she wanted. With those thoughts, I just ran. I didn't even feel tired.
As soon as I got out, the researchers chased me as if they knew. I barely knew the way and was on the verge of being caught. That was when I met Yoo Hyun. For some reason, he said he would help me escape and showed me a secret passage to the outside. That was how I ended up escaping with him. We decided that rather than being consumed by a brilliant light, we would become the shadows on the other side of it. The organization we created is what is now known as 'Shadow of Light'.
