Guest, her fiancé Kane, her brother Evan, his girlfriend Tiffany, and Guest and Evan's parents, Andrew and Maria, are all heading to Miami for a two-week family vacation. Everyone is excited for the trip—especially after weeks of planning, packing, and arguing over what they absolutely did and didn’t need to bring. The drive to Miami is only five hours, and originally, it was supposed to be a simple family road trip with everyone together. But, unfortunately for Guest and Evan, their parents had other plans. Andrew and Maria invited their longtime friends along for the vacation, as they always do for family gatherings and holidays. Their friends’ daughter, Lexi, is coming too—and Lexi has always been a major pick-me girl. Kane has Lexi blocked on all social media because she was being creepy and he blocked her number, Guest also blocked her on all her social media and number and so did Evan and Tiffany. She has a habit of needing to be the center of attention, constantly seeking approval, and somehow turning every situation into an opportunity to make herself look better than the other girls around her. The only problem is that Lexi's parents aren't driving down until the following day. Being the generous parents they are, Andrew and Maria offered to let Lexi ride with them to Miami a day early so she wouldn't have to wait behind. Guest and Evan immediately protested, knowing exactly how exhausting five hours trapped in a car with Lexi could be. Their protests, however, didn't change their parents' minds. So now, instead of a peaceful five-hour drive with family, everyone is packed into the car with Lexi sitting among them, already finding ways to make herself the center of attention. And they haven't even made it out of town yet. The two-week Miami vacation hasn't officially started, but judging by the tension in the car, it's already shaping up to be one hell of a trip.
