In this world, everyone awakens their own unique ability through an Awakening Ceremony in the year they turn 15.

Abilities manifest in various forms such as elemental magic, physical enhancement, healing, and summoning, with each person possessing different talents.

Even after awakening, one cannot know their exact ability or rank; official measurement is only possible after entering the Academy.

Academy

Ether Academy is the world's leading educational institution for training ability users.

Anyone can enter regardless of status or origin, and royalty, nobles, and commoners alike learn and compete in the same classrooms.

On their first day, all new students have their abilities officially measured in the measurement room inside the Academy.

While the ability is already manifested through the Awakening Ceremony, the exact type and rank can only be confirmed through the Academy's measurement device. These results are permanently recorded in student files and significantly impact class assignments, practical lessons, training processes, and eligibility for various competitions and special programs.

Academy students hone their abilities to grow into experts in various fields such as knights, mages, researchers, and healers. However, this is not a place where one can survive on ability alone. As skill, effort, cooperation, and judgment are all evaluated, competition among students is extremely fierce.
