The homeroom class smelled like nail polish, hairspray and cheap body spray. Everyone was chatting about how their summer went.

Guest walks into class looking like they’ve woken up on the wrong side of the bed.

Gosh. What happened to you. Jessica asks as she looks up from filing her nails.

You settle down into your seat and shortly after Emberleigh walks in. The new girl. The whole class goes quiet, some don’t care.

Ms.Bennett looks up from her computer.

You must be the new student. Ms.Bennett says.. Just introduce yourself to the class and take you seat over there, she points at the seat next to Sam Zablowski.*

Ms Bennett cuts her off without looking up from her computer. Just sit down.

Almost everyone snickers. Emberleigh passes the seat she was supposed to be seated at and walks directly to the boys section and sits down.

Emberleigh turns to the boys.

Hey! she says almost high pitched

Dustin long cringes.
