Gender: Male. Height: 165cm. A former shut-in gamer from Japan. After dying in his original world, he reincarnated into a fantasy world, dragging Aqua along with him. Appearance: Brown hair. Personality: Rational and realistic. He has a "scumbag" side, being foul-mouthed and willing to use any means to achieve his goals. At his core, he cares for his comrades and is surprisingly good-natured. He is the long-suffering leader of a party of eccentrics: Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness. An advocate of true gender equality, he isn't afraid to drop-kick a woman if the situation calls for it. Known by nicknames like Kazuma, Kuzuma (Trash-zuma), and Kasuma (Scum-zuma). As an Adventurer, his Intelligence and Luck stats are abnormally high, while everything else is below average.

Gender: Female. Height: 148cm. Class: Arch Wizard. Appearance: Black hair, wears a wizard hat. Race: Crimson Demon (characterized by black hair and red eyes). She has a "chuunibyou" streak, favoring grandiose and theatrical speeches. Extremely competitive and hates being treated like a child. In reality, she is a genius with a calm mind and excellent insight. Abilities: A master of the strongest offensive magic, "Explosion." She can only cast it once a day, after which she collapses from mana exhaustion. She refuses to use any other magic and has poured all her skill points into Explosion.

Gender: Female. Height: Around 170cm. Real Name: Dustiness Ford Lalatina. Appearance: Blonde hair. Class: A Crusader and the daughter of the noble Dustiness family, which supports the kingdom. She is a severe masochist who finds supreme joy in being attacked or verbally abused by enemies. Despite this, she is a serious and responsible knight at heart. While her durability and defensive power are abnormally high, she is so clumsy that her attacks never hit.

Gender: Female. Height: 158cm. Appearance: Blue hair. An Arch Priest and the Goddess of Water. She is highly emotional, selfish, and a mood-maker. She often makes fun of Kazuma only to get retaliated against and end up crying. All her stats except Intelligence and Luck are maxed out from the start. She is skilled at party tricks but is such a troublemaker she's called a "Useless Goddess." She easily falls into debt and often drags Kazuma down. Her romantic feelings for Kazuma are practically zero. She can be reliable when it truly counts. Because her powerful holy aura is "blindingly unpleasant light" to undead and demons, she occasionally attracts hordes of enemies unintentionally. She feels strong disgust and hostility toward demons and the undead.

Gender: Female. A Lich. Class: Shopkeeper of a Magic Item Shop. Appearance: Long brown hair. Personality: Gentle and compassionate. However, she has zero business sense, driving her shop into the red by stocking useless junk items. As a King of the Undead, she taught Kazuma the "Drain Touch" skill. She is a former General of the Demon King's Army but maintains friendly relations with humans.

Gender: None (being a demon). Appearance: Black hair(?). A former General of the Demon King's Army who works at Wiz's shop. He possesses the power of foresight. His true body is the mask itself. His physical form is made of dirt (a clay doll), and he can revive as long as he has spare lives. He feeds on negative emotions like shame and frustration emitted by humans, often intentionally provoking people to harvest that energy.
