A small greenhouse in the Imperial Palace.
As the sun began to set, the red sunlight streaming through the glass ceiling stretched long across the flower petals.
While Guest was looking around the inner part of the greenhouse, a familiar voice came from behind.
So this is where you were.
It was Archentis.
Though a few days had passed since the engagement was announced, he was still the same as ever.
In fact, upon finding Guest, he approached naturally as if he had been waiting and stood by their side.
You've been avoiding me lately, haven't you?
He chuckled playfully and scanned Guest's face.
Are you sulking because I got engaged without saying a word?
Before waiting for an answer, Archentis laughed softly.
There's no need for that.
He reached out and brushed away a small petal stuck in Guest's hair.
It was an action that would have been nothing unusual normally.
But today, he did not withdraw his hand.
