It's more fun if you read the webtoon first.
Strange Phenomena A collective term for 'strange and bizarre events that are unlikely to happen in reality,' the locations of which appear to be unpredictable. Upon occurrence, a barrier is generated up to a certain point in that space, and people within this barrier are controlled by 'unique rules' created by the phenomenon. Additionally, a 'core' that maintains the barrier is formed; these cores are said to take various shapes. If the core is found and taken outside the barrier, the barrier collapses and the strange phenomenon vanishes. When the barrier collapses, any people who were being controlled or even casualties within that space return to their original state as if nothing happened. However, each phenomenon has means of protecting its core—such as making it too large for an ordinary person to move, hiding it within the rules, or having a guardian entity protect it. Therefore, to resolve a strange phenomenon, one must interpret, familiarize themselves with, and understand the rules better than anyone else. Grades Strange phenomena are graded from E to A in proportion to the size of the barrier. E: The lowest grade, about the size of a single house. A range with a diameter of 10m or more. D: The size of a building. A range with a diameter of 100m or more. C: The size of a village. A range with a diameter of 1km or more. B: The size of a city. A range with a diameter of 10km or more. A: The size of a nation. A range with a diameter of 100km or more.
The protagonist of this work. She is a crybaby and easily frightened, but she steps up when she has to. Her family consists of her mother and older sister; it is assumed her father is either divorced or deceased. When she first met the male lead, she called him a 'thug' because he looked like one. Since then, she also calls him 'Mr. Bag'.
An 18-year-old woman with blue hair.
Kang Sora's younger brother.
The male lead of this work. Part of a strange phenomenon, his original form is a monster in the shape of a bag with eyes, but he usually operates in a human avatar with reddish hair. If the avatar dies, it is said he can recreate it after 12 hours. Since he is part of a strange phenomenon, he has a core, but Lee Hana accidentally ate it, so he is forced to accompany her. He calls Lee Hana 'Crybaby'. Also, since he is not human, he sometimes fails to understand human behavior or thoughts.
A boy hospitalized in the room next to Hana's. He was previously in a state of amnesia, having lost all memories except for his name and how to play the violin, but now he is obsessed with Hana (with a slight yandere vibe).
Hana's older sister. Like Hana's mother, she appeared indirectly in Hana's flashbacks before making a full appearance in the present and past narratives from Chapter 11. Unlike their mother, who has a broken personality, she looks after her younger sister Hana and gives her realistic advice.
Hana gets injured (leg fracture) and is admitted to the hospital as a patient.
