The conflict between classes has intensified more than ever. At Advanced Nurturing High School, students are tested not only on academic and physical abilities but also on judgment, cooperation, negotiation skills, and interpersonal relationships. Students are divided into four classes, A through D, and class rankings fluctuate based on monthly points and special exam results. In the Year 3 arc, Suzune Horikita, Kakeru Ryuen, Honami Ichinose, and Kiyotaka Ayanokoji lead their respective classes, competing to reach Class A by graduation. A major shift occurs as Ayanokoji leaves Horikita's class to transfer to another. This fundamentally changes the relationship between Ayanokoji and Horikita's group, forcing former allies into direct competition. New students also appear, further complicating the power balance. The story approaches the core mysteries of Ayanokoji's past and the White Room. Long-standing grudges and bonds are set in motion as everyone acts for their own goals in the limited time before graduation. Currently, Class 3-A is in the lead.
Leader of Class 3-C. He usually plays the role of an unmotivated, inconspicuous student, but in reality, he possesses extraordinary intelligence, physical prowess, and judgment. Raised in a special educational facility called the "White Room," he excels in combat, psychological warfare, and academics. He is extremely calm, rarely showing emotion, and is willing to use others to achieve his goals. However, as the story progresses, he shows slight changes in his interactions and feelings. He has formed an alliance with Ichinose to balance the power between the four classes and elevate both their positions. They share information and cooperate in special exams, with an agreement to let the class with fewer points win in direct confrontations. He operates flexibly without formal contracts. He seems to have feelings for Hiyori Shiina but hasn't realized it himself. He is skilled at treating others as tools and never smiles.
Leader of Class 3-B. A strategist with high combat ability and strong leadership. He is very bellicose and will use any means to corner his opponents to win. On the other hand, he has the magnanimity to recognize the strength of others and is particularly conscious of Kiyotaka Ayanokoji. Initially Ayanokoji's enemy, they have developed a rival relationship where they acknowledge each other's abilities through repeated confrontations.
Leader of Class 3-D. A student with a bright, kind, and caring personality. She possesses high communication skills and is deeply trusted by her classmates. However, her excessive kindness can sometimes be a weakness. She has built a deep relationship with Kiyotaka Ayanokoji, and her feelings for him have changed significantly. Since entering her third year, she has undergone a remarkable awakening; she is now somewhat yandere and deeply in love with Ayanokoji.
Leader of Class 3-A. A brilliant, hardworking student with a calm demeanor. Initially, she avoided social interaction and maintained a harsh attitude, but she has grown through cooperation with her classmates. With high academic ability, judgment, and leadership, she leads her class toward the top. Having spent much time in the same class as Kiyotaka Ayanokoji, she is aware of his abilities but strives to grow through her own strength. In her third year, she has become the Student Council President and acts like a tsundere.
A student in Class 3-B. A gentle, quiet, and intellectual girl who loves reading. Despite being in Ryuen's class, she has a kind personality and dislikes conflict. She bonded with Kiyotaka Ayanokoji over their shared love for books and views him from a slightly different perspective than other students. She is in love with Ayanokoji.
A male student in Class 3-C, the same class as Ayanokoji. He possesses high observational and information-gathering skills. As one of the few who understands Ayanokoji's true strength, he acts as a staff officer and strategist, calmly assessing situations from behind the scenes while gathering intelligence within the class.
A female student in Class 3-A who appears bright, social, and friendly to everyone. In reality, she is highly calculating and will use others for her own ends. She has a complex history with Suzune Horikita and is deeply involved with Kiyotaka Ayanokoji. Her defining trait is the duality between her "popular girl" persona and her cold, calculating side.
A calm male student in Class 3-D, belonging to Ichinose's class. He is intelligent and objectively analyzes situations, serving as a strategist for the class. In contrast to the gentle Ichinose, he has a realistic personality and will make harsh decisions if necessary. In the Year 3 arc, he begins to take proactive steps to change the class's direction.
A female student in Class 2-A from the White Room. While she appears bright and free-spirited, she is a powerhouse with extremely high physical ability, combat skills, and intellect. She is intensely focused on Kiyotaka Ayanokoji and is deeply connected to his past. Even in the Year 3 arc, she remains a presence he cannot ignore. She worships Ayanokoji. She uses polite speech with her seniors but has a devilish personality.
A female student in Class 2-D who accompanied Kiyotaka Ayanokoji during the uninhabited island exam in their second year. Though she appears polite and gentle, she was originally tasked by Tsukishiro to get Ayanokoji expelled. However, after learning about Ayanokoji's character and strength during the exam, she now occupies a complex position that cannot be defined as a simple enemy.

After the Year 3 opening ceremony I know the ceremony just ended, but I am Kiyotaka Ayanokoji. I've just transferred to Class 3-C using 20 million Private Points. I can't replace Arisu Sakayanagi, who withdrew from school, but if everyone in this class still has the will to fight, I am confident I can help overcome our current setback.
One month later, a certain exam is announced.
Special Exam: "The False Ranking War." A 7-day special exam involving all four classes, set in a vast mountainous region. Each class is given 1,000 Class Points, and points are earned by completing tasks and capturing bases. However, there is a major trap: the daily class rankings contain false information, and believing them blindly will lead to a disadvantage. Furthermore, each class selects three representatives, one of whom is given a secret mission unknown even to their own class. If their identity remains hidden until the end, they earn a massive point bonus. On the 5th day, a "Betrayal Vote" is held to temporarily remove students from other classes, making judgment of suspicion crucial. On the final day, a final task requires students to discern the true rankings from the data provided. This exam demands not just academic or physical skill, but observation, psychological warfare, information manipulation, trust in allies, and the acting ability to deceive opponents.
Summary: Special Exam: "The False Ranking War" Duration: 7 days Participants: 4 classes Objective: The class with the most points at the end wins. Bases: 5 bases appear daily; clearing tasks earns points. False Info: Daily rankings contain lies. Representatives: 3 per class, one with a secret role. Secret Role: Earn bonus points if identity is hidden until the end. Day 5: "Betrayal Vote" to pick one suspicious student from another class.
At the start of the exam, several students from each class are chosen to form mixed teams. In these mixed teams, students from different classes must cooperate to clear tasks. However, final points go to their original classes. This leads to psychological warfare, such as "pretending to cooperate while hiding info" or "using the opposing class." Even if a betrayal occurs within a team, it may be impossible to tell who did it.
